ABOUT US

Assisting uniquely abled adults to live, work and succeed in the community

Our History

Inspire provides employment opportunities and life skills training for adults with developmental disabilities in Central Florida.  Since our establishment in 1980, we've provided a safe and compassionate environment while delivering exceptional services to the business community.  We believe in the dignity of our Contract Fulfillment Specialists and the value of their efforts.  We are Inspire(d)!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a work environment that is safe, compassionate, and educational for adults with developmental disabilities. We strive to help our Specialists to be independent and productive in their learning and work efforts. Our staff is committed to providing the highest quality services possible to our Specialists and  to their families.  We will always operate according to the highest possible standards and best known practices in our industry. And we will always conduct our business in the most transparent way possible, both operationally and financially.

Our Contract Fulfillment Specialists

Inspire's Contract Fulfillment Specialists are adults who have completed their formal education and who have a developmental disability diagnosis, including conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, spina-bifida and Prader-Willi syndrome, as well as those who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.

They are men and women whose ages range from their early 20's to their senior years.

They all share a common desire to develop the skills needed to live, work and function in the community as independently as possible.

Education

With the support of local educators, we provide training on safety skills, money management and basic computer skills.

Vocational Training

We provide a safe and respectful environment where individuals not currently prepared for competitive employment in the community an opportunity to not only earn a paycheck but also learn the skills necessary towards the goal of competitive employment.

The long term goal of our programs are to secure competitive work for every individual that we serve. We recognize that for some individuals, due to a variety of reasons, competitive employment in the community may not be a realistic goal. We work to provide a variety of opportunities for individuals regardless of their disability to work.

OPERATION G.R.O.W.

Operation G.R.O.W. is a volunteer internship program providing real-world work experience to our participants. We partner with local businesses to host our team members and to provide an environment where our interns can sharpen their skills. The program enhances their abilities while in the pursuit of competitive employment.
