A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10 am at the Adult Day Training Center of Inspire of Central Florida (1095 Belle Avenue, Casselberry, FL 32708). Attendance to Pre-Bid meeting is strongly recommended. Separate sealed bids for the Removal and Replacement of the Commercial Metal Roof will be received at Inspire of Central Florida at their office at 1095 Belle Ave., Casselberry, FL, 32708 until March 16, 2023 at 3 pm, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
As a federally funded project, Federal Labor Standards Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. This project is partially funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. All Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding process. The entire project must adhere to Davis Bacon Federal Wages. Bidders must be State of Florida Certified or State of Florida Registered for Commercial Metal Roofing Systems Work.
For this Contract, payment of predetermined minimum wages applies. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage Rates applicable to this Contract are listed in Wage Rate Decision Number(s) FL20230226, as modified up through ten days prior to the opening of bids. A copy of the applicable Wage Rate Table as of the advertisement date is included. Contractor shall ensure that employees receive the minimum wages applicable. Contractor shall review the “General Decisions” for all classifications necessary to complete the project. Contractor shall request additional classifications when needed.
