INSPIRE Opens its First Residential Home for Special Needs Adults

Stephanie Ryan

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

Inspire of Central Florida will be opened our first group home in mid-December 2019, called Inspired Living.  Inspired Living is a six-person home that resides within a residential community in beautiful unincorporated Seminole County. Inspired Living was established through a partnership with Seminole County Government and is now home to six men, all attendees of our ADT program. The residence is fully staffed, round the clock with specially trained direct care providers who are compassionate and caring.

Residents work on building independence, confidence and competence in performing daily life activities.  They make critical decisions, budget money, manage their health and safety, seek employment opportunities, build relationships with their roommates and neighbors, and being a part of their community.

Transportation is provided for group activities and to Inspire of Central Florida. The residence is conveniently located close to county parks, walking trails and shopping. With your donations and support, Inspired Living can continue to be a not just a living facility, but a fun, caring home for adult residents of unique abilities.
